ANNUAL MEETING NOTICE

 

The Annual Meeting of the Louisiana Hotel and Lodging Association is hereby called as follows:

 

Wednesday, March 11, 2015

1:30 pm

WLAE-TV Studio

3330 N. Causeway Blvd.

Metairie, LA   70002

 

At this time the election of officers and directors for 2015 will be conducted.  Our by-laws call for the past presidents to serve as the Nominating Committee.  Anyone interested in serving as an officer or director of the Louisiana Hotel & Lodging Association should contact any past present or the LH&LA office at 504-525-9326.

 

Immediately following the annual meeting, LH&LA will conduct a Lt. Governor Candidate Forum.  This event will start promptly at 2:00 pm, in the WLAE-TV Studio.  It will be taped and aired on WLAE-TV and will be made available to all Louisiana Broadcasting Stations across the state.  All four Lt. Governor candidates have agreed to participate.

 

SPECIAL NOTE:  Seating is limited in the studio.  If you intend to attend you must RSVP your attendance to the LH&LA office at 504-525-9326.

 

This one hour taping will be moderated by Norman Robinson, former White House correspondent and news anchor for WDSU-TV, New Orleans, LA.

 

The format will be an opening by each candidate, questions and answers (controlled by the moderator), and a closing by each candidate.  We ask that you submit now any questions your would like to see posed to the candidates.  Please e-mail your questions to Bill Langkopp, at langkopp@att.net.  Our LH&LA Executive Committee, in conjunction with WLAE-TV Studio officials, will determine which questions will be used and in what order.
