Membership
Membership in the Louisiana Hotel and Lodging Association is established in two categories – active and allied (associate) members.
The by-laws identify an active member as a hotel. The hotel property at a given location is the member. The representative of the member property is usually the general manager or owner. Only one representative is established.
An allied member is a person or company which has a business affiliation to hotels. This could be a product supplier (food, linen, etc.) or someone who provides a service to a hotel (security service, parking company, CPA, lawyer, etc.).
